Michael L. Horton is the owner and manager of Beneficial Investigations. In his tenure he has over 25 years of law enforcement and investigative experience. He has attended more than 1800 hours of advanced training in criminal justice related topics. As a Texas Peace Officer he obtained the status of an Advanced Texas Peace Officer Certification through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. After retiring from law enforcement, Mr. Horton became licensed by the Private Security Bureau of the Texas Department of Public Safety to be an Owner and Manager of a Private Investigations Agency and to be a private investigator. Mr. Horton has an associates degree in criminal justice. Mr. Horton is also a Notary Public through the Texas Secretary of State.
Mr. Horton is a very capable private investigator who specializes in criminal investigations, criminal defense investigations, civil rights violations, and wrongful death investigations. Mr. Horton approaches all of his cases with a very simple concept, and that is to seek the truth. Mr. Horton has a very impressive track record of finding evidence that was overlooked by law enforcement that can in many instances make the case.
Mr. Horton also oversees every aspect of the day to day operations of Beneficial Investigations. He provides every consultation personally and believes that every assignment reflect not only on his agency, but also a personal reflection on him.
